- No. The video stream is copied directly without re-encoding, so there is zero video quality loss. Only the audio track is swapped. All processing happens locally on your server.
- What happens if the audio is longer than the video?
- The audio is trimmed to match the video duration. If the audio is shorter, you can choose to pad with silence or loop it. Processing runs on your own self-hosted infrastructure.
- Can I replace audio in any video format?
- SnapOtter supports MP4, WebM, MOV, and MKV containers for audio replacement. The replacement audio can be in MP3, WAV, AAC, OGG, or FLAC format. Everything is processed locally on your server.
